- Duration: 4 years inclusive of On-Job-Training at Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO)
- Requirements:
- At least 17 years of age to enroll in the aircraft maintenance license program.
- In order to APPLY for the CAAM Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License, trainees must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass SPM with a credit in English.
- Formal education, such as having a diploma or a degree, is not necessary.
- Be able to read, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Do not suffer from colour blindness.
Aircraft Engineer
Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer shall permit the holder to issue maintenance release following maintenance including aircraft structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems. Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple test without the use of test equipment to prove their serviceability, shall also be included in the privileges.
The programme provides students with a solid foundation for a career as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. The course covers all of the knowledge requirements specified in the CAAM Part-66 Category B1.1 syllabus.
